This project is a resort that comprises villas built on artificial islands, beaches, restaurants, fitness club, beaches and swimming pools with a very reasonable proximity to the city center and the international airports. The Cove comprises a total area of around 290,000 sqm.

Scope:

- The scope of the study included settlement and bearing capacity prediction for the villas and hence suggesting suitable soil improvement techniques.
- Design of island protection against erosion by the sea was studied by different alternatives (Pitched slopes, masonry and R.C. retaining walls). Liquefaction analysis was also performed.
